MEMORIAL - Dempsey | ||||||||
Date: Dec 6, 2005 We are very sad to report the passing of a boxer that touched our hearts. In April of 2003, my family and I adopted a 5 yr old male boxer named Dempsey. Dempsey instantly became the love of our lives. From the minute we brought him home he always greeted us with "boxer nudges" and very sloppy kisses. Dempsey had some bruises on his legs and a very nervous stomach which led us to believe that he wasn't very happy in his previous home. He quickly adapted to our very hectic and busy lifestyle. With two sons we are always on the run. I don't think that there was a person in Dunmore that didn't know Dempsey. He loved going for rides in the car and he knew that when someone had keys in their hand, it was time to go out. As with most boxers, Dempsey didn't like to be home alone, so we got him a friend, a female terrier mix named Gracie. I think she was definitely his one true love. You never saw one without the other. Dempsey finally had a perfect life, a family who loved him unconditionally and Gracie, his "little wife." It is with a broken heart that I must tell you that on 11 -5-05, our little sweetheart died unexpectedly. We are shocked and lost without our Dempsey. But as I have been told, he died happy with Gracie by his side and thank God without any pain. Dempsey brought so much love and happiness to our family, and although we only had him for two years, I truly believe he was a happy guy. Thank you for making so many people happy with all of your hard work. Sincerely, The Rinaldi Family Michele, Mike, Chris, Corey and "Gracie" "The gift which I'm sending you is called a dog, and is in fact the most precious and valuable possession of mankind." -Theodorus Gaza In our hearts forever. |
