4/12/16 Spotty
has been waiting for a home since November. He is a great dog, but his
white face keeps many people from reading more about him. Please
consider adding a senior boxer to your family. Our older boxers
deserve to have a loving home for the remainder of their years.

Spotty
has moved to a new foster home and is now living with AABR available dog,
Bella. He really enjoys having another dog around and should be placed
with a dog in his forever home. Spotty is an easygoing and well
behaved boy. He does well with children and loves to play with his
ball. If you are interested in adding a wonderful senior to your home,
please consider adopting Spotty!

Spotty
continues to settle in well and can best be described as an absolute
sweetheart. He has enjoyed having his doggy friends around.
Spotty spent time with a female boxer over the holiday break and he seemed
to really open up and enjoy her company. He watches her, follows her
all over, and wants to be wherever she is at. Spotty happily shares
his bed, toys, and food with either dog. He loves to play with his
ball. Spotty is very easy to walk on leash and is fully housebroken.
He has done well being crated, but doesn't need to be. Spotty is a
super low key boy and would love a home for the holidays with another dog.

Spotty
just arrived at his temporary foster home and is settling in nicely.
He is very low key and just wants to know where you are. Spotty is
still trying to figure out all of the changes in his life. He walks
great on leash and is housebroken. Spotty has been able to be
integrated with both a female boxer and a small breed dog in his foster
home. Spotty visited the vet prior to his transport, and it was
determined that he has an old cruciate injury that has since healed.
He will occasionally limp when tired.
Spotty will need a new foster home the second week of December. If
you can provide a foster home for this laid back, senior boy - apply today!
11/18/15 -
Spotty and Ernie are 10 yr old siblings who were surrendered to the
shelter because their owner passed away. Spotty is a pretty laid back
guy. He would do best in a home without other animals. Spotty
has some arthritis and will be evaluated by our vet once he joins AABR.
His brother, Ernie, has found a foster home - but we are still urgently
searching for a home for Spotty so he can leave the shelter.
Apply today if you are a possible match for Spotty! |
