We are surprised that this adorable boy hasn't been scooped up yet!  Adam is getting along great with the three other boxers in his foster home and also with the cats.  Included are some updated photos.

Adam is now 8 weeks old and ready to go to his forever home.  He arrived at his foster home this past weekend, where he is now living with three other boxers (2 females and a male), cats, and children.  If you are interested in adopting Adam, apply today!

Included is an updated photo of Adam.  He is currently in a foster home with both a male and female boxer, along with his siblings.  Adam will be available for adoption the first weekend in May.  Our ideal home for Adam would be with a female dog, a fenced yard, and somebody home enough to handle the needs of a puppy this age.

Adam is now 6 weeks old and he is still looking for a forever home.  He will be ready for adoption in two weeks.  Adam and his siblings visited the vet a few days ago to get an exam and deworming. Adam's foster mom indicates he has been a happy and playful boy.  If you are home enough for a puppy this age and have the time and experience to work with him, apply today for Adam!

4/17/16 -

Adam and his four littermates were surrendered to the shelter when their mother stopped nursing them.  The puppies were only 4 weeks of age and the owner did not know how to care for them.  Their mother is a purebred boxer, but we do not know what the father is.  All of the puppies were transported to their new foster home this weekend.  They are eating well, very playful, and are settling in great!  The puppies will be available for adoption once they reach 8 weeks of age.

If you are interested in adopting Adam or one of his siblings, please make sure you have the appropriate environment for a puppy this age.  The puppy will need to go out multiple times a day.  We are looking for homes committed to working with housebreaking, training, and socialization.  The puppies would love to have a fenced yard and a sibling to play with!  Apply today if you are a great match for this adorable boy!

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 3 months to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Not every home is the right match for a boxer, and matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time. 

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us at your home visit of other dogs you are interested...  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
