Lucy, AKA Mother Goose, lost her battle with cancer this morning. We
adopted Lucy 8 years ago and loved everyday that we had with her. Lucy was
our traveling buddy, our cuddle bug, and faithful companion. Lucy was
gentle, loving, a clown at times, and a big couch potato. She had her own
special way about her that made everyone fall in love with her. Lucy
traveled with me to Philly on weekends to help my Aunt and the kids in the
apartment complex would come and knock on the door of my Aunt's apartment
and say "can Lucy come out and play?" She loved children, she just loved
everyone. Lucy helped us to deal with the deaths of Bo and Bert, our two
other boxers, and now we have to deal with her passing. She was a special,
precious angel who is going to be missed so much. Thank you to Dawn and
boxer rescue for allowing us to adopt such a precious soul. Earth has lost
a wonderful creature but heaven has gained a precious angel. Lucy has
crossed over the rainbow bridge and was met by Bo, Bert, Rusty and all her
loving human family members who have gone on before her to keep her
company until her Mommy and Daddy get there to get her. God bless you Lucy
- Mommy and Daddy love you and miss you.
