Sadly we did what's best for both
dogs. We are moving Hercules into a foster today with another female boxer.
He is a super dog. He is great with kids having lived with kids of all ages
throughout his last 2 homes. The next home we want is a loving and caring
boxer home. One that deserves the love of such a great dog. Hercules is in
great health and great shape. Please consider Hercules as your next family
member.

Maxi and
Hercules can not stay in their foster home any longer. We thought this would
be their forever home but it was not to be. The home could not keep 2
additional dogs any longer. If you would like to foster or adopt this pair
please fill out an adoption application.

Maxi and Hercules are doing fantastic. Both have
come through their heartworm treatments with flying colors and are on their
way to being heartworm free. Hercules was just neutered and in top shape.
These wonderful dogs are super with people and love kids. Please
consider a pair to love.

Maxi and Hercules
Maxi and Hercules are super cute and super friendly !! They came to AABR
from a trailer Park in Maryland. The owners were not interested at all in
the health of these dogs. They refused to take them to a vet even though
they knew both dogs needed medical attention because they owed 2 vets
money!!! They called us for help and then stopped taking our calls!!
Finally the owner's sister (who seemed to be the only one with a
compassionate heart) agreed to help get the dogs to us.
Maxi is 6 year old and weighs about 30 pounds and just as cute as a
button. She has 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye. She has been deaf since birth,
but she does not care! Hercules is 3 years old. He is one of Maxi's
puppies from one of her litters. He is very thin and weighs about 50
pounds. He also is a sweetie pie! The owner's sister let her 2 year old
daughter climb in the back of our volunteer's truck to hug and kiss the dogs
good-bye. It was obvious that Maxi and Hercules LOVED this little girl!!
When our volunteer picked them up, she put them in her truck and drove
them to the vet. Both of them were very well behaved the whole ride. They
loved to look out the windows and catch some air on their faces!! They were
full of wiggles and kisses for her while they waited in the vet office.
They did not seem to be bothered by any of the other dogs in the waiting
room.
Both dogs are getting updated on their vaccinations and unfortunately
they both tested Positive for heartworm. But both dogs are being treated
for the condition by our vet.
Please consider giving these dogs a forever home where they can truly
experience the life a boxer deserves!! They are sooo sweet and would love
to be able to give someone boxers kisses and wiggles everyday!!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an
online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below. Be sure to include your full name, city,
state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
