"Meet Brutus, a fabulous mature
gentleman. Brutus was rescued on his way to Philadelphia's high kill
shelter, where I'm sure he would have not walked back out of. He is 8 years
old, but he has plenty of puppy energy left in him, as he really enjoys
wrestling with my 2 year old boxer girl.
Brutus looks like he has had a rough
life. His previous owner abandoned him. He is very skinny, with ribs and
spine showing, so he needs to gain a lot of weight. He has a healthy
appetite! He also has a bit of a limp on one of his back legs, which will
be checked out by a vet. He is also the smallest boxer boy I have ever
seen, standing between 20"-21" at the shoulder!
He is a big sweetheart, and seems to
really enjoy the company of my female dog. He previously lived with a
Pomeranian and a cat. He is scared of most men at first, but with a proper
introduction, he warms right up and doesn't hold back the kisses! He
sleeps in a crate in the bedroom at night (without a peep), knows how to
sit, has no food aggression, doesn't mind baths and nail trimmings, and
rides well in the car. He is strong on leash, but is learning proper leash
manners.
Please consider giving this wonderful
boy a secure and comfy forever home."
