Rosie is doing much better in her foster home and getting along with the
dogs in her home. Its was a struggle at first but she is coming along with
her relationship with the male and female dogs in her foster.
Rosie is just the sweetest girl ever.

Hi, my name is Rosie, I'm around 8 yrs old and through no fault of
my own, I need a new foster home. I had a home once, but my
owner went to jail and then I was sent to this shelter, but a nice lady
liked me so much, she got me out before my time ran out.
She took me to rescue and very quickly I got a foster home.
But now, I need a new foster home. My current foster brother is dominant and
doesn't like me. My foster mom and dad are really upset cause
they wanted to adopt me (they think I'm terriffic...:), but with my foster
brother being mean to me, there really is no chance of that.
I am such a good girl. I don't have accidents, I don't touch a
thing that isn't mine, I give wonderful little kisses and wiggles, am
very gentle with everyone I meet (including children). Heck, I
wouldn't even get on the furniture till my foster mom invited me up.
Now I sleep on the loveseat all night and on the new sunroom on the new sofa
all day (that's how much they trust me - they let me sleep on the new
stuff....very cool). I have lost some weight too! The vet says I need
to lose about 9 more pounds and I'll be at a great weight....ok, so maybe
I'm, a little pudgy now, but we're working on that.
I would be a wonderful addition to your home! I'll do a cute
kidney bean dance when you come home and give sweet little kisses!
Since I've had a dominate dog be mean to me, I'd really like a home where
I'm an only child or where there are other dog(s) that are not dominant.
My foster mom and dad think I'm just the greatest and are really sad to let
me go - I think mom will cry when it happens, but she knows I'll be happier
in home where I am not getting picked on.
Please think about fostering or adopting me. I really am a
great girl and I'd love to prove it to you!
From Rosie, with love.

Here are some pictures of sweet Rosie Marie (we had to give her a middle
name so she didn't feel slighted from the other kids). We've had Rosie for 6
days now and she's just a sweatheart!
She really likes the loveseat right next to the Christmas tree - she
loves looking at the tree as you can see from one of the pictures.
Not a single accident, nothing touched or destroyed and lots of wiggles
and kisses! She is on a diet so we expect her to lose some weight soon...:)
She can actually jump up on the sofa or loveseat easily now and negotiates
both sets of stairs.
She goes up with us at night and sleeps for a while in the bedroom, but
then I think she sneaks down in the middle of the night and turns the tree
on.....:)

What a sweetheart she is. Definitely a Diva. She may look
like a little sausage, but that little butt still can wiggle.
She's gentle and I can't imagine anyone turning her in to
a kill shelter. Doesn't anyone have a nice soft bed for her to enjoy?
I'll bet if you're the energetic type and like to exercise, she'd be glad to
watch. = )

This sweet little girl is a senior, who was taken from a
shelter before being euthanized. Her owner is spending time in jail and
the family didn't have any place for Rosie.
Her manner is very docile and sweet, she has no idea
what's happening to her. Anyone out there have a warm place for this lady
to curl up for the Winter?
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an
online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below. Be sure to include your full name, city,
state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
