Roxxe had little to no medical care prior to coming to rescue.
We knew she had seizures, and her vet exam revealed that she was
suffering from worms.  She was being treated for a bad case of hook
worms but she was so anemic due to the infestation, that our vet had to give
her a blood transfusion to save her life.  With hospitalization, her
    bills have just reached $1500.
She is doing better now, and is a real trooper.
We need your help to pay her bills.  It takes money to save these
dogs, and everyone of them is worth saving!
Please donate what ever you can to help us help these dogs.

    RoxxE
Meet .....RoxxE!!  She is a 2 year old fawn female with a
black mask and white on her chest. She is very energetic and playful. RoxxE
has been with both my male and female Boxers as well as my female Rottweiler.
After the traditional butt smelling train, everyone laid down and slept. (It
must be very tiresome to play train!) She acts as though she has always
lived here.  She eats well and tolerates movement around her as she
eats. She loves to give kisses with her Boxer tongue. She has a foot
fetish.. my feet have never been so clean...and I have never laughed so
much--that tickles!!!! She also likes to lick my camera lens as I tried to
    take these pics.....
RoxxE came to the rescue as an owner surrender. The family was having
difficulty making ends meet, and thought giving away RoxxE would help????
RoxxE has been seen by my vet who says, RoxxE is a "keeper" I explained
to him I am only fostering her, he said ...too bad, SHE IS NICE!!!
RoxxE does take Phenobarbital twice a day to prevent seizures. I pay
$14.00 at Walmart for her meds. This buys 300 pills. Which works out to be
around 10 cents a day.  Her previous family didn't have her on medication,
and she did have a few seizures when she first came to me.  However,
she has been to see her fan club at the vets office (they LOVE HER!) and
all is well. She has been seizure free since.
She is housebroken and crate trained.  She may, in the future, be able
to go down to 1 pill a day, with your vets okay.  She is excellent with my
kids; ages 13, 9, and 6. Rolls on the floor with all of us.  I do not know
about her tolerance of cats.  RoxxE WILL be a wonderful addition to your
family. She is eager to please, and loves everyone.
Please let RoxxE come and brighten your Christmas Spirit.
