11/10/10 Paige
was adopted in May 2005, but is sadly being returned to rescue. She is being
surrendered along with her sister, Roxie. Paige is a great girl, but her
owners have lost their home. They are moving and can't take their dogs with
them.
Paige is used to being active and has always been walked and exercised on
a regular basis. This is a sad situation for both dogs. They will need a
foster or forever home as soon as possible. Paige is now around 8 years old.
She would do best in a quiet, adult home. Paige is timid at first, but
relaxes quickly as soon as she knows she is safe. Apply today if you can
provide a home for Paige!

Paige is a beautiful girl in
need of her forever home. She thinks that her foster home is forever, and
knowing that she needs to be uprooted again breaks my heart. She listens
well, recently learning to follow commands without the leash in the yard.
She now comes when called even when rabbits are running around, although
treats are always present as bribery. Paige is protective of her family and
property. She guards the door when people ring the bell, but responds well
when introduced to new people. She continues to be wary of children since
she was abused in the past, and has not met many children in her new safe
life. Paige is looking for someone who she can trust to be kind, patient,
and gentle. I hope that a loving person will adopt her soon, so she can
finally become comfortable in her truly forever home

Paige is doing
well in her foster home. She is an energetic girl who loves to run and play
outside when in a fenced area. She is about 3 years old according to her
most recent vet visit. Paige always gives tail wags and wiggles, even
wiggling while she sits. She knows her basic commands especially for a
treat. She and our boxer girl have become buddies. They playfully compete
for toys and attention, and chase each other between rooms. She loves to
snuggle on the couch, and in bed if allowed. She needs a forever home
committed to consistent training and socialization.

Paige
Paige is doing well in her foster home.
She has a foster boxer sister and as long as she doesn't take her toys the
two are getting along fine. It would be best for Paige to go to a home with
a submissive, non-dominant dog.
Paige would do best in a home with kids over 14. Paige
has been abused. She is leery of people but is warming up everyday. As soon
as she realizes you won't harm her she is giving kisses and wiggles.
Paige has a lot to offer the right home. Please help her,
she deserves a great life.

Here's Paige a 3-4 yr old fawn female who is
absolutely precious. She's been a very good girl here with us, although
it's clear she is totally confused by her new surroundings.
She was rescued from the Philadelphia SPCA, and is very much in need of a
loving home.
Four years old is a great age to adopt, all that puppy nonsense is over
with.
This little darling is up to date on her shots and ready to go.
If
you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption
Procedure, by clicking on the link at the top of this page, then fill out an
online application.
Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a
first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On
average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an
approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and
flexibility.
Matching Boxers suitable for placement with
younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs,
increases the application review time and adoption time.
And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may
have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved. Should your
first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us
as to other dogs you are interested in at
Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com . Or let us suggest a few that
we feel will match your home. That is what we are good at. And be happy
for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many
fantastic dogs waiting in their place.
Our non-profit organization is wholly
comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our
wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance
for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will
try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
We hope you feel that the right Boxer is
worth waiting for.
