Rascal
This is
Rascal, approximately 1 yr old Springer mix. He's smaller than a Springer
Spaniel, but definitely that breed.
Our vet, Dr. Jody, called last week and asked us to take this nice boy.
The story is, the man that brought him in to her heard a scratch at his
door. He opened it, and in walked Rascal, just like he belonged there. He
went over and sniffed the cat and she smacked him across the nose. Not to
be deterred, he climbed up on the couch and proceeded to take a nap.
Neighbors had seen him running the roads for about a week before, so guess
he was all tired out. The man would have kept him, but landlord appeared
and said "NO DOGS ALLOWED." The man took Rascal up and down the roads
looking for his owner, but no one knew.
Now he's a "Boxer Rescue." He's been neutered, and updated on all his
shots. He's good to go. I think he would be great anywhere he was
welcome, but a fenced yard would be great, cause this boy's a runner, which
could get him in big trouble.
I think he would be great with kids, especially ones that like to play ball.
The guy that found him called to check on him. Said he would have loved to
keep him, but unfortunately, the landlord only allows cats.
