Clover Clover is a very happy and active 10 month old boy who will be
neutered and brought UTD on his shots soon. He is simply handsome, and has
the cutest butt-wiggle! His prior family felt that with their three young
children they could not devote the time and energy needed to raise a young
boxer.
He is a typical bouncy adolescent, full of boxer spirit. He enjoys both
running, and quiet time chewing on a bone or bully stick. He is being
fostered with a 2 year old boxer girl, who he is simply enamored with.
Today I took the two of them to a tennis court, where they ran around and
around chasing balls and doing acrobatic jumps over top of each other!
Clover hasn't had much experience on a leash, but is quickly learning the
hang of it. He is also completely housebroken. He does have a habit of
jumping on people, we have been working on this issue, and he has started
responding to the command "off!" He already knows how to "sit" and will do
so quite happily for treats.
Clover was raised with 3 small children, and was very loving and gentle with
them. however, with his high energy level, and jumping abilities, older
children would be best. Clover would love to be part of an active home
(possibly with a female dog) who has the time and energy to play with and
train this wonderful boxer boy!
