10/01/05 - I just
wanted to post some new pictures of that cutie, Nala.
She was taking a walk with a volunteer, and thoroughly
enjoying the moment which included a nice rubdown.

Just an update on Nala.
Poor girlie was supposed to go to a new home today, but
the people found another boxer in their area to adopt. Everything was set
to go, and I even had been telling her of her new home. What a
disappointment for her. She's such a happy energetic girl, needs room to
run and have a good time. She needs balls to chase and kids to play
with. This girl needs a family to call her very own.

Nala
This is Nala, 1 yr old
female boxer mix. She weighs about 40 lbs. Her owner went into the military
so we have Nala here at the kennel with us.
I tried very hard to get pictures of her, but she's in
constant motion and the name of the game is play all day long.
Her favorite toy which she's playing with in the picture
doesn't squeak anymore. Her favorite activity in the kennel is picking on
Penny in the next pen. She stands on the edge of her water bowl and
stretches as high as she can to try and see over the side of the pen.
I think she, like Penny, needs to be an only child.
She'll be great for an active family cause she's a bundle of playfulness.
Her owner says she's great with kids as well. A kid would be perfect to
play ball with.
She's spayed and up-to-date on her shots and ready to go.
She's got a lot of playing saved up for you.
