Thank You Suzanne for naming Atticus.

This is in memory of our beloved Boxer Atticus, who died in February, 2005 A noble soul who we will love always. We now have adopted Einstein from Adopt-A-Boxer (Buster-Einstein now) He is thriving, finally beginning to feel that this is really his forever home, and he is enjoying NYC life !

Atticus is still doing well but it is time for his new home. His first foster home has left the country for a year. His second foster home has a female Boxer that is not thrilled with having another dog in the house. Atticus is such a sweet gentleman who does not deserve to be tossed from home to home. Can he stay at your place for the rest of his life? You won't be sorry to have such a fine handsome companion!!!

Atticus has gained a perfect amount of weight. He is feeling GREAT and is ready for his forever home. His foster home is leaving for Europe (they will be gone for a year). If this was not planned Atticus could not be taken from them. They love him so much. If you want the perfect companion, Atticus is it!!!!

5/26/05
Atticus is doing GREAT in his foster home. He is housebroken, well behaved, loves all people, dogs, and kids. We will update his pictures soon as he is better looking than the pictures we have posted.

Atticus's has had a full exam and blood tests at our vet and he is healthy except for one knee. We will be fixing his cruciate ligament (very common in Boxers) and then will be ready for his forever home. If you can handle having the perfect dog Atticus is for you!!!!

Taking an easy dog from someone who has to move and rehoming him is not a huge challenge. The challenge is transporting and caring for dogs like Marshall, Rikki, and Atticus. The challenge is finding the funds to help the dogs in need of medical care.

Thatıs where YOU come in. We need donations to cover the medical bills for these dogs. Remember we get no public or private funding. We rely on adoption fees and your donations to cover our expenses.

5/10/05 - Atticus

Atticus was found on the street. He seems like a well behaved dog. He is in a high kill shelter in NY and will be moved to a foster home tomorrow. We will get better pictures of him and a better idea of his age.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.  Then e-mail the contacts below.  Be sure to include your full name, city, state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
