Fritz
Fritz was saved at the very last moment thanks to a wonderful caring
volunteer that was willing to drop everything and rescue Fritz. The
volunteer adopted a beautiful Boxer earlier this year and has always
offered to help us when we were in need. Today they became AABR
volunteers because we were in dire need to save Fritz!
We received the call from the shelter in the early afternoon that said he
would be euthanized within the next 24 hours. Here is where AABR literally
jumps to the rescue. He was in our care and safe at a kennel within 4 hours
of the phone call. The shelter was full and his time was up. There was no
holding period for Fritz since he was surrendered by his owners. He was
surrendered by people that just did not want him anymore. We live in a
disposable society but our companion animals are NOT disposable. Maybe they
should come with that label that tells humans they are a lifetime
commitment.
If you can commit to this sweet fellow please tell AABR you will
commit to him for life! Fritz deserves a forever home!
