This isn't a great picture of this bubbly friendly little
girl, but I worked so hard to get it.   While I'm outside cleaning kennels,
she always gets a squeaky toy and stands there squeaking away so I'll notice
her.   She's into toys big time.  She has a squeaky newspaper, and she loves
it. Samantha is so friendly and playful, she will definitely
make a wonderful companion to an active family.  She deserves the best after
her scarey experience wandering the streets of NYC.

Samantha Samantha was found wandering in New York City and was
"darted" by the police and brought to a shelter. After being darted they had
trouble waking her up. She had a wound from the dart and was over heated.
The sedation made her unable to regulate her body temperature. Samantha is
lucky to be alive. What a horrible experience!!!!!
She's a little on the thin side, but has a hearty appetite, so that will
      change quickly.

She's a very friendly girl, but wants out of the kennel as soon as
possible. I don't blame her, but as long as she's with us she's safe. Samantha is current on shots and will be spayed this week. As soon as she's checked out, I'll post more information.
