09/10/05 Silo is
now in his foster home and doing great. He is good with everyone he meets.
He is so happy to be in a home and out of the kennel. He loves going for
walks and has been friendly with the dogs he meets while out. Silo is a
super dog that we will get know even better now that he is in a home.

Great news! Silo is getting along with other dogs! My
husband and I decided to take Silo and another rescue dog kenneled at the
same place for a walk together and not a SINGLE problem!!!
Silo just ignored the other dog. They walked side by side then
sat side by side while receiving treats and no issues at all. All this
guy needs is a chance to show what a good boy he is. We're going to
take him on a "field trip" to our home to meet our 3 "kids" this weekend and
see how he does with dogs he has not encountered before, but my guess is
he'll be just fine! He is a super guy. The girls at the
kennel just love him. They've given him a bath and he was just
perfect. One girl said she'd adopt him in a heartbeat if she had her
own place.
PLEASE give this guy a chance!
07/21/05 - new pic
Hi to everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I'm still here at
the kennel waiting for someone to give me a foster or forever home.
I'm a beautiful (ok, so I'm not shy about it...) big fawn boy with a
black mask and I just love people and give big sloppy kisses - my rescue
volunteer says I give her a bath with every kiss. I'm losing weight
though. I'm pretty stressed here because I just don't understand why
my people did what they did to me and then dumped me. See, what
happened to me happens all the time. They dumped me at a high kill
shelter.
I walk like a champ - my rescue volunteer comes to walk me 3 or 4
times a week and always brings me lots of treats (I really like that..:).
I'm just a confused, big, beautiful (ok, ok, I'll stop with the beautiful
thing), but seriously folks, please consider giving me a chance.
I just don't want to be mistreated again and really need someone to love
me.....I won't let you down, I'll give you unconditional love and you'll
never have to wash your face again....:).

07/02/05 - Silo
Silo is a stunningly beautiful, friendly, very happy big boy! He
weighs in at 90 pounds of warm snuggly
boxer love. He walks well on the leash,
sits, does not jump up and keeps his kennel very clean (no
accidents!).
He would love a foster or permanent home where he could be the only
dog as he does have a dominance issue
with other dogs. He also likes to chase
the kitties so a home without kitties would be best. This
guy is a sweet and gentle soul who
would love someone who would be gentle to him and love
him forever. Is that you?
06/18/05 - Silo
Silo is a young male boxer. He is neutered and up to
date on shots. He is a BIG boy. He walks well on a leash and is well
behaved.
Silo needs a boxer experienced home that knows how a
boxer behaves and acts. Silo would do best with a dog that doesn't mind him
being the boss or a home where he would be king of his home without another
dog. We will post more info as we find out more on him.
To save his life we had to board him.
