07/21/05 - This
handsome boy is still waiting for a family to call his own. He loves to
eat, nap and go for walks. He has a loving personality and while I'm
filling his food dish, he's giving me boxer kisses. He's just a great dog,
would do well with an active family who would give him lots of exercise.

Just wanted to
let you know I'm still here and waiting for a lucky family to come along.
I am such a good boy. I would love to have a nice yard to play in, and
a family of my very own. As you can see, I'm just about the handsomest guy
going. There are 2 boxers here at the kennel with me, named Sky and Ski.
They are from Israel, and that Sky thinks he's better looking than me.
But Gail says it's no contest, I have a cute nose and he has a big lug
head. She loves them too, but says a rescue like me is the best dog in the
world.
Soooo, what are you waiting for? Get that application filled out, so I can
spend the rest of my summer in a nice air conditioned house.
Love Big Tom

Just an
update on Tom or as I affectionately call him, "Big Tom." My husband is a
Survivor fan, and it just seemed fitting. Tom is a sweet boy, very gentle
and laid back.
He's an absolute gentleman to take care of. He's got to
be confused and scared, after all he had been through at the shelter. He
seems very happy to just lay low and try to stay cool. When it's time for
a walk or a trip to the garage to "help" Jim with his work, he's all
wiggles. I love how when Jim sits on the stool in the workshop, Big Tom
just goes up to him and puts his head on his knee and looks up at him with
those big brown eyes.
All he wants is a little head rub and ear scratch. These
dogs sure don't ask a lot from us, but we get buckets in return.
Tom will make some family a wonderful friend.
