08/03/05 - Snickers

This is Snickers!  She and her brother Havoc were surrendered to a shelter when their owner moved in with his girlfriend and child.  Apparently, the house was too crowded with the dogs so off to the shelter they went.

Snickers is a good girl who appears to get along with other dogs.  She can be dominant if another female is flirting with her brother. They were in a home with 2 cats.  Snickers has been very traumatized by this whole move also.  She too is scared to be left alone and will need to start all over again trusting that humans will not abandon her ever again.  She and Havoc are used to a fenced in yard and were well behaved.  Sometimes they may dig a hole and lay in it to get cool.   Both are crate trained, good with kids, walk well on a leash, like going for rides in the car (except to the shelter!!), and love to snuggle together on their bed together.

It would be wonderful to adopt them out together but if  2 perfect homes appear and are willing to work with them they will be split so each can get all the lovin and attention they deserve.  They will ONLY go to a home that will commit to them and never dump them at a shelter ever again.  If you can give all the lovin and attention they need please tell AABR you are the best home for these sweethearts.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.  Then e-mail the contacts below.  Be sure to include your full name, city, state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
