- T-Bone
T-Bone was surrendered to a kill shelter when the family who owned him was
going on vacation. When they realized all the boarding kennels were full
T-Bone was off to the shelter. So much for his vacation. The ex-owner
said that if he is still at the shelter when they get back from vacation
they will get him. Believe it or not this is what we hear too often.
Luckily for T-Bone our contact at the shelter knew T-Bone deserved a
better and committed home and AABR was contacted to rescue and rehome this
sweet boy. We don't know a lot about him but he was in the volunteers car
with another Boxer who was picked up as a stray (Wookie). They got
along perfectly in the car and on a leash. They were licking each others
face as if to congratulate each other for being rescued.
T-Bone is definitely scared and wondering what he did to deserve being
dumped at a shelter. He needs a gentle human to let him relax and
unwind. He needs to gain several pounds. He needs a home that would
never do something like this again. If you can offer T-Bone a loving and
forever home please fill out an application and tell AABR you will commit
to him for life!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an
online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below. Be sure to include your full name, city,
