Milkshake is now in foster with 3 dogs
and 3 kids ages 8,12 and 14. Milkshake
loves to go for rides in the car. Milkshake
is housebroken and super with my dogs. He plays with my 2 yr old boxer all
day. They love each other. Milkshake
was a bit jumpy on my 8yr old child the first few days but is much better
now. I think he must have lived with older kids and this was
something new and fun. He slept on my
8yr olds bottom bunk last night and
sleeps right through the night. He walks well on a leash and is very
pleasant all around. Milkshake is a
super boxer that is much cuter than his pictures. He is doing very well on
a top dog food and has made himself at home in just a few days. Milkshake
deserves the best home that will commit
to him for life. Milkshake is neutered and up to date on shots and in
great shape. He is tall and lean and could use at least more 10 lbs. He
lost a few lbs after spending time in a kennel that saved his life from
the shelter that needed him out asap
since they were out of space. Its a tough life being a homeless dog in
this world.

Milkshake is now in foster with 3 dogs
and 3 kids. He is a very sweet boy. He loves to play and would love a
young female dog to romp with. He is doing very well with my young male boxer.
My female boxer is
bossing him around and he is enjoying
it. Milkshake is a happy go lucky
Boxer. He is housebroken and loves to go for a ride in the car. He sat in
the front seat as if that were his place. He has a hearty appetite. He can
use to gain about 10lbs. He has been in the kennel for a two weeks due to
a shortage of fosters but he is now safe and sound. Having the kennel
saved his life until we had an open spot. The shelter he came from is a
high kill shelter due to the fact they get 300 dogs in a week.
Milkshake is on his way to a super home, will it be yours?

I
went to the kennel tonight to meet Milkshake! Well, what a pleasure he
was. I did not want to leave him. I would describe him as a gentleman, a
clown, a lover of people, other dogs and most importantly a Boxer that would
flourish in a loving home.
He is a bit thin so he needs some groceries! He walked well on a leash
and romped and played like the happy puppy his is now! He has a great
appetite and would love to have humans who will appreciate the beautiful
soul inside.
As I left the kennel I looked back and he was kissing Molly ( the Boxer
he was rescued with) as if to say "its OK now Molly, these people will love
us and see that we will get a great home". The sight brought tears to my
eyes because Molly was so scared. Milkshake just wanted to let her know
that they were in good hands.
Milkshake was right. The volunteers at AABR see that the dogs they
rescue get the best of the best. The dogs deserve the best and that's what
they will get!
