12/01/05 - Buddy
is in his foster home, living in harmony with four other dogs, appears to
get along with both males and females. Loves to play and sleep next to his
favorite girl. Buddy listens very well, is housebroken and very loving.
He is looking for his forever home and certainly deserves only the best
after all he has been through . Buddy is a quiet boy, but will and does
let you know when someone is at the door. He calls off quickly, and
settles down to play or rest. Buddy walks well on a leash, and we are
working on recall currently. When I look at him, I can see that he has
Boxer in his lineage, and he uses his paws very much like my Boxers, as well
as kisses and wiggles. This guy is small, only about 40lbs., but a load of
love.

Buddy continues to bloom in his foster environment . He loves to
run and play with his foster brothers and sisters. Buddy is housebroken,
and stops on a dime when you call his name.
He allowed me to cut his nails and likes being the center of attention.
He always has an eye on the people in the house, where you are, he is
there. A real love bug that will give everything he has to people that
are kind to him. It will be hard for me to let this guy go to a forever
home, he knows how harsh "the streets" are, and when you show him
kindness, he just turns inside out.

Hi! This is Buddy.
Buddy was rescued when the AABR volunteer went to rescue another boxer.
When she walked past a room with a small widow in the door she asked the
technician what they were doing in there. She said that is the euthansia
room. She saw Buddy on the table ready to be put to sleep and said "I can
find him a home". The tech immediately went in and stopped the
"procedure".
Buddy is as gentle as they come. He is ~1 year old. He seems to like
all people and dogs. As soon as you walk up to him he rolls over on his
back as if to say "scratch my belly"!
Buddy is neutered, up to date on shots and ready for a FOREVER home that
will love him! What a gem of a dog!
