11/18/05 Ritzie
is a beautiful petite boxer girl. We took her for a few walks and what a
little lady, she walks so well. She has found a favorite toy (we named him,
Mr. Squeaks because that's all she does with him) and she carries him all
around the house, and even in the car.
Ritzie Girl loves the car and is content with just looking out the window
instead of hanging out of it. She loves to takes bath and be pampered just
like any little girl. Anything with touching she loves!!!
Ritzie is very well-rounded and adapts to the environment around her.
If it's time to play with her boxer brother Noah, then it's all play, but if
it's time to relax when mommy and daddy are watching TV then she just hops
right up on the couch and makes herself at home. She LOVES to snuggle and
be close to people. She is doing well with her commands such as "Sit" and
"come." She's smart, she even knows what "peanut butter" means!! We took
her to a park on a 15 foot leash and she stayed right by us. She
chased Noah and was of course chased BY Noah. We learned that she is quite
the gymnast. When we were there she would run and do somersaults, she
did about 10!!! We say "Ritzie do tumbles" it was the cutest thing!!! She
is ALWAYS full of boxer wiggles, she not only wiggles but dances, she moves
all 4 feet up and down and her whole back half is just out of control!! She
is also great in her crate (as long as Mr. Squeaks is there)!!!
A few days ago we had a friend and his daughter come over to our house
and Ritzie was great with the 4 year old.

Ritz's foster home writes:
Well I have gotten to know Ritz a little better today. I took a half day
from teaching today so I was home by 12:00. She was great in her crate
last night and for the 4 hours in the morning. She needs a little nudging
to go in but then she is fine. She and Noah are getting along, they
played for a couple of hours but boy is she vocal when she plays.
She is doing great with Jason and me. She is a quick learner, with some
heavy duty practice (and lots of treats) she has already learned "sit".
She also had Noah showing her what to do which is a major plus.
It's challenging with two but it's just double the love.
Here are some pictures so far, I will get more this weekend as she starts
to get more settled!!

Ritz
Ritz is in a
kennel and needs to get into a foster home so we can learn more about her.
What we do know is she is very playful and strong on the leash. She is not
fond of cats. When we know more or if you can foster Ritz please let AABR
know!
