12/24/05 Lucky's
foster home wanted everyone to know he plays with many children every day.
The youngest is 3 years old and he is wonderful with them all.
12/23/05 -
Lucky was very Lucky. He had friends in the right
places. When Lucky broke his leg someone saw what a nice dog this was. He
had the best care available. Lucky is now good as new.
AABR received an urgent phone call that Lucky was
being evicted from the hospital that cared for him (he was well and they
needed space for animals needing medical attention). Being such a nice dog
(really great dog) we took him in.
Many people ask "why not just stick to Boxers"? How
can we do that when these mix breeds are so very, very sweet. These mix
breeds are euthanised in some kill shelters quickly.
Lucky is in a foster home and they report he is an
angel. Well behaved and housebroken. We think he is a little over a year
old, neutered, and up to date on all his medical care. Lucky needs a home of
his own. He loves other dogs and would be fine with kids (no toddlers
because we don't know his history).
