Zeus is still with us. He's just a totally awesome
dog. I love my boxers, but I have such great respect for the wonderful
heart of a beautiful German Shepherd. Zeus deserves a great home.
12/30/05 - Zeus
This is Zeus, he is a 4 year old purebred German
Shepherd. He's here at the kennel with Jim and I. This is a very
special boy. When I first met him a few months ago, I told the owner, who
had just returned from Iraq, if you ever need to find a home for him,
please bring him to me. Well a few days ago, I got a call from the
owner. He said that he just didn't have time for him anymore. How very
sad for Zeus, because he adores his owner, and just wanted to be with
him. It's a very bad set of circumstances, but he is safe here with us.
Zeus is a very gentle laidback shepherd. He needs a home where he can be
cherished and loved. He's good with other dogs, but he's very much in
charge. I don't this handsome boy has a mean bone in his body. He
just wants some attention and some love.
This picture is from the grooming shop. He was great, loved his bath and
all the pampering. He was even good for his nails.
