There not a more appropriate saying to describe Bowie than" One man's trash
is another man's treasure." My husband and I sit and try to figure out why
someone would discard this AWESOME man. He is completely housetrained and
crate free. Yes, we no longer crate him. He spends most of the day in bed,
in bed, or on the couch. He loves to lay in the sunny spots.
Bowie was a big hit at the dog park and passed his Petsmart cat test with
flying colors. Bowie hates the rain. Watching him walk on the wet grass is
painful. You would think that he was walking on burning coals. When he sulks
he hides his head under the bed. He knows the sit, stop, stay, and give paws
commands. He has a great appetite but prefers gravy on top of his food.
Bowie is a family man. Just like everyone else he just wants to be loved.
Whoever adopts Bowie will be one the luckiest people in the world, I
guarantee it.
With the upcoming St. Patrick's Holiday, think of Bowie as your Pot O'
Brindle.

Bowie is a 5 year old handsome brindle man. He is neutered and update to
date on shots. Bowie has been with us for about 36 hours now and he is such
a gentleman. He loves to cuddle and get tickles.
We have not noted any bad habits and his appetite is picking up. He runs
to the backdoor when he needs to go out. Bowie knows the purpose of the
leash and goes wild when you grab it. He runs like a cheetah and prances
like a show dog.
Bowie gets along with our female Boxer, lovingly called the wicked witch
of South Jersey. On our walk he paid no attention to the children running by
or the other dogs.
Bowie dislikes his crate. At night we let him sleep on the floor, really
the bed. When we are out of the house he is in his crate. If you are
interested in a man with some experience and who looks fabulous, Bowie is
your guy.
2/26/06 - Bowie
Bowie is a very sweet boy looking for his forever home. He is micro
chipped and the chip indicates he was originally adopted from the
Philadelphia SPCA. Well, poor Bowie was found wandering the streets of
the city dirty and very hungry.
This time Bowie will have a home that will love him and make sure he is
never homeless again. We at AABR are very serious that the homes we adopt
to must be committed and value the Boxers as a family member and nothing
less than that. If you are a committed Boxer home please adopt this sweet
gentleman! He is neutered and has been given a clean bill of health. His
page will be updated as soon as some kind person gives him a chance to get
into a foster home.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an
online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below. Be sure to include your full name, city,
state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
