5/24/06 Hogan has been with us for 4
days now and he is a joy! He's a big bouncy goofy guy who only wants to play
and snuggle. He's in a foster home with another dog and 2 cats. He and
Diesel (dog) hit it off from the moment they met. The cats are cautious
because of his size and enthusiasm. Hogan LOVES to play. His favorite games
include: doggie wrestling, running laps around the yard at full speed,
playing catch (he knows "drop"), and playing soccer (he's got some moves!).
Because of his agility and smarts, we keep a close eye on him. I wouldn't be
surprised if he figured out how to open gates/doors or squeeze through small
openings. Hogan is surprising gently and extremely well mannered. He sleeps
in HIS bed, eats from HIS bowl, and listens to commands -no matter how
excited he is. Given the chance, I’m sure that he'll steal your heart like
he's stolen ours.

I have to say, Hogan is the
cutest boy going. We took him to the Pet Expo and he was a star. We
discovered he knows some tricks, which he shamelessly performed for anyone
who would watch. He can sit, high five and down. What a champ!! He was
friendly and loved all the attention he received. He was a good boy, and
went in his crate for a snooze, when we got tired. He needs a loving home,
and active people who will enjoy his antics.

Just an update on Hogan or
"Hoagie" as he is affectionately nicknamed. This is the sweetest friendliest
boy. He's doing well, and wondering why no one has come for him yet. He
needs an active family, as he is a young dog, with lots of energy and loves
to play. He especially loves toys, stuffed ones in particular. He's very
careful with his toys, and has a stuffed fish that he carries around in his
mouth. It's too cute, but whenever I get the camera, of course he drops it.
Whoever adopts this guy is going to have a lot of additional fun in their
home.

- Hogan
Hogan was found as a stray and will need to be placed
in a home with older or no children. He seems to be a very good boy and is
a huge puppy. He seems to be housebroken and loves to play outside.
He is a very happy boy despite being in the shelter and then in a kennel.
Please give Hogan a foster home or forever home!
