3/23/06 Baby is thriving in her foster
home. She gets along with the dogs and cats. Baby is strong enough to spay
next week. Are you ready to make her part of your family????

The boxer puppy fairy left the sweetest
little Baby under my pillow last night. Soft as velvet, she's mesmerizing in
her beauty. The camera can't seem to capture just how lovely she is.
Everyone who meets her is swept away. She's skin
and bones and no bigger than a minute with a
personality as big as the universe.
Remarkable as it seems, she trusts us completely. She even greeted my dog
walker at the door today like an old friend and went with her like it was an
old habit. She's a teeny tiny package of boxer love and fun and a sweet
little cuddly bundle in bed.
Who loses such a dog and doesn't go looking for her? Except in this case
they apparently starved her
first because by the length of her claws and the lack of wear and tear on
the rest of her she couldn't have been on the streets very long at all. So
this little one's safe and sound and warm and dry and soaking up the love
and eating like a horse and should start to put on weight soon enough.
Between you and I -I really do dislike people sometimes. I've never seen
a dog so skinny - she looks like a dinosaur where her vertebrae are sticking
out, but she's going to be drop-dead gorgeous once she gets some meat
on those bones.
We will spay Baby as soon as she gains some weight. She is too skinny
to with stand the surgery now.
