06/02/08 - Update from her
Dad and Mom Cocoa was visiting with me, at my brothers house in
Hopewell, NJ, in spring of last year. He is the chief pilot at the
Princeton, NJ Airport. He invited me to come along for a ride... I had
Cocoa with me, so with great trepidation and some fear, Cocoa jumped up on
the wing and into the back seat of a Piper Cherokee. We put on her
WWII helmet before take off, and she got beautiful views of Princeton, NJ,
Philadelphia, and other parts of PA. She was up about 50 minutes and
sat straight up from take-off to landing in the back seat. As we would
bank left ot Right, Cocoa moved to look out the windows. She was a
perfect lady during the whole flight.
05/18/06 - Happy Beginning!
From her adopted parents...
"Cocoa is going nowhere... She has found her forever home! she's settling
in nicely and has claimed the bench at the foot of our bed as her own."

Cocoa
is in her foster home and loving life! Her foster mom says "Wow, is this
dog ever sweet!" She fits in perfectly with 2 female boxers, 1 male boxer,
a young child, and has no issues with cats, kids or other dogs. She is full
of life and very friendly. She loves to give kisses and wiggles like crazy
and dances around when her foster mom comes home.
She is housebroken and great on a leash. The perfect dog - not to
mention absolutely beautiful! Why anyone would ever give up a girl like
this is beyond me, but we consider ourselves very lucky that the shelter
liked her so much that they called us! She is just awesome! She is an
example of how totally wonderful the middle aged dogs can be - she has many
years of happiness, love and devotion to give. Who ever gets this girl is
going to be one lucky person!!!!

Coco
Cocoa is a 5-7 yr old fawn cropped and docked female boxer. She is currently
in a PA shelter and we are trying to pull her in the next few days. She is
in a shelter with 20 other dogs that have free roam in one part of the
shelter. She is doing well with those dogs when out playing in the shelter
yard.
Coco was found as a stray roaming a PA small town when the animal control
officer picked her up and brought her to the
municipal building where she spent a month until they had time to
take her to the shelter. She has had a tough time, scared and not sure as to
what will happen to her.
Please help her get a foster or adoptive home where she will feel safe. She
is very sweet and loves attention. She will be spayed and up to date on
shots asap.
Please help us help her.
