05/23/06 - Tango
has been in foster care for a week now and has shown herself to be a calm,
sweet companion. She is perfect in the house and is left uncrated for the
full workday. She touches nothing and is 100% housebroken. Tango is a low
maintenance, low key girl. So far we've discovered that her 3 greatest joys
in life are belly rubs, rolling in the grass and pizza crusts. Tango is in
foster care with Lucy (10 months), and a senior cat. She's extremely gentle
with the cat and quickly lets Lucy know when she's being too wild. Tango
would be fine in a home either with a somewhat submissive dog or as the only
dog in the house. She's also a great watchdog, alerting you to someone at
the door. She is affectionate and a real joy to share your home with.

Tango
has danced her way into my heart. What a sweet, gentle girl she is. Tango is
perfect with people, cats and other dogs, loves to ride in the car, walks
like a dream on lead and is housebroken. She is in foster care with Lucy and
is already 'explaining' good manners to her - something that only one dog
can do with another.
The resident cat has already claimed Tango as his own, curling up with
her for a nap. She is playful and more then willing to do whatever you ask
of her. She knows down, sit, come and wait. She sits when waiting for
mealtime and is full of kisses and nub wiggles. Tango is not high energy -
no crate is ever needed. If you are looking for an easy adult dog, a dog
that will bring calm and happiness into your home, then Tango is waiting for
you to fill her dance card.
4/30/06 - Tango
This dog came from the WB Shelter... they called us saying she was there.
Her owners divorced and no one claimed custody of sweet Tango. Lucky they
called us, because they were full.
She seems like a very sweet girl. Very sad to be dumped because humans
can't get their lives in order. They can take care of themselves, but an
innocent pet can't. She is very calm, and sweet. We will update more as we
get to know her better.
