We took Mason from a NYC shelter 3 and a half yrs ago after one of the
Broadway Barks we attended. We put him in our car and brought him home to
our house to foster. We knew he was not a typical boxer from the start so we
adopted him knowing he would be safe with us.
He had some issues with strangers and we dealt with them in the best way we
could. Mason died of unknown causes suddenly on Dec 29th. He went for a walk
that day and appeared his typical happy self. The ER DR did everything he
could to save our boy. It could have been his heart or an allergic
reaction... there is no way of knowing. After reviving him 4 times the Dr
could not get his heart to work on its own or for him to breathe on his own.
Every day Mason loved us 100 %. He protected us and gave us his all. We
loved him like a child. My 3 kids thought he was the best dog ever even
though their friends were afraid of him and he had to be leashed to me or
the kids had to play in their room.
Mason was a loyal and true friend that we will miss everyday of our lives.
Loosing him at 5yrs young is a devastating loss to our family. He always
played with all of our fosters dogs. He loved other dogs. His doggie
brothers miss him as well. He loved to walk around with a toy in his mouth.
He was our best friend.
He will never be forgotten.
RIP
Your Loving Family,
