8/5/11 Bella is a sweet senior girl
who really enjoys the company of her family. She loves to be given attention
and petted. She also really enjoys eating peanut butter and apples. Bella
often can be found rolling upside down with her feet sticking up in the air.
She does not need to be crated and she is a very easy girl. Bella would
greatly appreciate someone who can let her out for mid-day potty breaks. She
gets along great with all size of dogs and she is currently living with 5
other dogs, large and small. If you are looking for a sweet, laid back
senior companion - then Bella is your girl! She has been patiently waiting
for a forever home - apply today for Bella!

Bella continues to do really well in her foster home. She is a
couch potato and loves to be with you all the time. Bella listens
quite well. She needs a quiet home with someone that is home often or can
let her out mid-day. Bella will run and play when outside, but she loves
being indoors.
Bella is always a happy girl. She gets along great with the three Great
Danes, female boxer, and female German Shepherd in her foster home. Bella
absolutely loves bananas with peanut butter. She is an all around great girl
and will give you lots of wiggles. Please apply today to offer Bella a
forever home!

Are you looking for a laid
back, soulful boxer? If your answer is yes, meet Bella2 - one of the
sweetest boxers out there. She gives soft, gentle
Boxer kisses and just loves attention. Her
beautiful eyes are a window to her tender, loving soul. She'd be
happy to be your loyal best
friend. Bella2 joins us monthly at
Petco and wins over the
customers with her sweetness and gentle nature. She is wonderful with
other dogs (she lives with five!) and is very tolerant of AABR Alumni Gumbo
when he jumps around and wants to play with her.
Bella2 is just a gem. She's perfect in every way, so if you are looking
for an easy, less active companion, please consider Bella2!

Bella has been doing wonderful
in her new foster home. She is in foster with several other dogs, and she is
getting along great with everyone! Bella is on a diet and has been losing
weight. She is now running and jumping in the yard. Bella would do best in a
home without a lot of activity and noises - she is a pretty easygoing girl.
Her foster mom indicates that Bella has been a wonderful, all around great
dog - she is going to be a wonderful companion for a lucky home. Apply today
for Bella!
2/14/10 -
Bella is female boxer estimated to be around 7 years old. She was adopted
from a shelter two years ago by her family, and she has scars from a
previous attack from another dog. Bella's owner indicates that there is a
medical illness with a family member that is requiring her to leave Bella
alone for longer periods. Bella is used to being let out frequently during
the day and she needs a home that can provide her with more time and
attention.
Bella is currently living with two small breed dogs, and she gets along well
with them. Bella is also living with three children. She would prefer
a home without cats. Bella is nervous around loud sounds and a lot of
activity, so she would do best in a quiet and loving home where she can feel
safe and secure. The volunteer that met Bella indicated that she was very
easygoing and friendly with people. She came over to greet her and give her
a kiss, and then went back to relax on her dog bed. If you are interested in
providing a foster or forever home for Bella, apply today!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption Procedure,
by clicking on the link at the top of this page,
then fill out an
online application.
Boxers and Applicants
are not matched on a first come, first served basis.
Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes
between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an
approved applicant, depending
on your personal circumstances and flexibility.
Matching Boxers suitable for placement
with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special
needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review
time and adoption time.
And yes, we
realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted
before you're approved. Should your first choices all ready
found their forever home, we want you to advise
us as to other dogs you are interested in at
Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com . Or let
us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.
That is what we are good at. And be happy for the
ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many
fantastic dogs waiting in their place.
Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful
Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a
Boxer.
We hope you feel that
the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
