6/14/15 Jackpot is being returned to
AABR. His previous adopter has a new baby on the way and Jackpot is
not comfortable around toddlers. Jackpot's adopter also indicated that
his family has become increasingly busy with work and the children.
They do not feel like Jackpot is getting the attention he needs.
Jackpot was just updated on all vet care and arrived at his new foster
home, where he will be living with a female boxer. Jackpot has some
arthritis, so would do best in a home without a lot of stairs. Once he
gets settled in, we will be posting more information about this wonderful
senior boy!

Jackpot was adopted in 2010,
but is now being returned to rescue and is in urgent need of a foster home.
Jackpot's family had a child in 2012. This child is now walking and
more active. The family indicated that Jackpot does not enjoy being
around small children, but that he does fine with the 7 year old child in
the home. Jackpot's family feels he needs a home without toddlers, so
they have asked AABR to find a new home for him.
Jackpot is now 7 years of age. He has some arthritis, so shouldn't be
placed in a home with a lot of stairs. Jackpot is a big boy, but
thinks he is a lap dog. He is extremely loving and enjoys hanging out
on the couch. Jackpot is living in the basement now at his current
home, but will be sent to the kennel if AABR can not find a foster home
soon. Please apply today if you can help Jackpot.

This handsome boy is still
waiting for his forever home. He is used to being alone during the work day,
with a mid-day break. Jackpot loves to play with balls. He was previously
raised with cats, but hasn't been around them for several years. Jackpot is
great with children and other dogs. Apply today if you can provide a forever
home for Jackpot!

Due to a divorce, Jackpot is in a temporary home with the owner's mother.
This home, however, is in the process of being sold due to financial
difficulties, and Jackpot is in urgent need of a forever home. He is
currently living with an older female boxer, who he has been raised with
since he was a puppy. Jackpot would benefit from an active home and he loves
to run in his fenced yard. He is crate trained and housetrained. Jackpot is
used to being alone during the work day. He loves to sit in your lap, even
though he doesn't fit there!
The AABR volunteers that met Jackpot indicated he is a beautiful boy - the
pictures do not do him justice! He greeted them with kisses. Jackpot
does know sit, but needs some work on his other obedience commands. He is
going to be a wonderful boy for a lucky family. Jackpot has been well
cared for and loved. Please offer him a forever home!
