New pictures of Sasha!

Sasha has had a rough couple
of days, but is healing quickly and starting to feel much better. It has
been 6 days since her emergency surgery and we are happy to report that
Sasha is doing really well. She is eating and becoming her happy, snuggling
self, even with the cone on. Sasha is a joy to have around the family and
would love to be in a forever home soon. She has sweet eyes that will melt
any heart and she gives the sweetest kisses. Sasha knows basic commands like
sit, stay, and come and is completely potty trained. She is not only a
strong survivor, but she is also very smart and can be easily trained with
food rewards. I know she would love a home with a nice yard and a comfy spot
next to her owner's feet to just relax.
Sasha LOVES people: big ones, little ones, it doesn't matter. Sasha's
little skin-foster sister even taught her how to play dress-up and she
really likes that game! Sasha gives really good kisses. She takes a little
while to warm up to other dogs, but eventually does and there are no
problems. She would be okay without a canine friend also. Please
consider Sasha for your home!

Our sweet Sasha had to
undergo emergency surgery on Friday morning after her spay incision
opened. The doctors had to repair her intestines and thanks to their
quick work, Sasha has survived surgery. However, she is not out of the
woods yet and will need to be hospitalized to make sure that things are
working the way they should and that no infection takes hold. Her bills
will accumulate much like those of
Dallas and a number of
other dogs under AABR's care. It is only because of gracious donors that
AABR is continually able to help dogs who would be turned away by other
rescues. Would you please consider making a donation for Sasha, Dallas or
any of the other dogs in our care; even $5 makes a difference. Thank you
for your support!

Sasha is really coming out of
her shell. She would be great in a home that can give her security by
being her pack leader. Sasha would do best with a submissive male dog
and will quickly find her place in your home. Sasha loves to snuggle and
lean on her foster mom and dad, often falling asleep on them. She
would be a great family dog
as she is calm and loving toward kids and allows her skin-sister to dress
her up with sunglasses and
princess crowns. Please consider adopting Sasha today!

I am now settling in at my foster home and recovering from my spay. I
lost 7 pounds in the shelter and need a little TLC. My foster mom will
update my pictures soon. I love to give kisses and snuggling is one of my
favorite pastimes. I am longing for a forever home that can give me lots of
love with some boundaries, I am very unsure of whether I want a fur friend
and have yet to accept my fur-fosters. I would do best in a home without
cats.
I know how to sit and was previously potty trained, plus I do well with
my crate (even though I would rather be laying at your feet). Sasha is a
sweet and beautiful boxer.
Sasha is a typical boxer with bouncy energy, but she also loves to
relax and can be a real love. Please consider giving her a forever home
today.

Meet Sasha, a 3 year old brindle girl who was surrendered to the shelter
due to her owner's illness. We are told that Sasha is good with other dogs
and children of all ages. She is going to a foster home today with a male
boxer, a cat, and a young child. We will update her page as soon as
she settles in.
