Rocky is doing great in foster. He squeezed himself into my Frenchie's crate and he loves to cuddle in there. At 72lbs, he was like a contortionist getting into it.  Rocky is great with kids of all ages. He loves to play with anyone who will give him the time of day. He knows sit and gives paw and will do anything for a treat. He is a very agile runner and can jump over any one of my boxers while they are standing. Rocky is such a friendly, goofy boy.

Rocky is in foster with 4 other dogs and 3 kids. He is a super puppy. He is housebroken and a gem in the house. He loves to go for car rides and sits in his seat belt like a champ. Rocky went to the vet today and got a clean bill of health. He is neutered, microchipped, got his distemper booster and a checkup. He is HW negative and was put on preventative. He is all set for his new home.

Rocky is long and lean. He will be 10 months old next week and weighed in at 70lbs. What a gentle sweet soul this dog is. My whole family loves this big goof ball. He sleeps on the floor in my bedroom next to the bed. Rocky is a super boxer in need of an athletic home that can give him the time and attention all young dogs need and deserve. Rocky is the BEST!

Rocky is a 9 month old boxer who was adopted and then returned to the shelter because he was too playful for the owner's pug. They also indicated that Rocky paid no attention to the cats and was great with the kids. Rocky is now in foster with several other dogs and a 6 yr old child. His foster mom indicates that he is still very much a puppy in activity level. He is very playful and full of energy. Rocky loves to play with toys and also gives hugs. He is already neutered and is up to date on all vet care. Rocky does well with dogs of his own size, but should not be placed with small breed dogs. He is housebroken and crate trained. If you can provide a forever home for Rocky, apply today!

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
