6/17/11 Bella is
adjusting really well at her new foster home. She enjoyed her bath and is
getting along great with her foster brother. Bella knows hand signs for sit,
down, stay, and come. She is sleeping on a dog bed in the bedroom and seems
to be fully housetrained.
Bella does not have a lot of confidence, so her foster mom is working on
her socialization with children and new people. She met her foster mom's
nieces and warmed up to them after spending some time observing them.
She is still reluctant to go outside on her own - she likes to stick right
next to you.
As Bella gets used to her new environment, she is becoming a lot
more comfortable and is coming out of her shell more and more with each day.
Bella is looking for a patient family that will allow her to feel
comfortable and that can continue to work with socializing Bella to new
experiences.

Bella moved into her new foster home today and the initial introductions
with her foster brother, a young male boxer, went really well. Her
foster mom will be updating her page soon with new pictures and information,
once she gets to know her better.
6/8/11
Bella has
been doing well and is still looking for a foster or forever home. Her owner
feels she would be good with other dogs her size. She is not recommended for
a home with smaller dogs. It would be great for her to be able to run
and play with another dog, which is what she has been able to do at her
current home. Bella goes for runs in the morning with her owner and is
great on leash. She has not been around children at all and their
energy level frightens her, so we are recommending a home without
kids.
Bella is crate trained. She loves to run and play in her yard.
She is not a confident dog, so will need a home that can provide some
socialization and training for her. If you can provide a home for
Bella, apply today!
4/2/11 -
Bella is a one year old female boxer who is being surrendered to rescue
because her family does not feel she is a good fit for their home. Bella is
currently living with a male Pomeranian and a male Siberian Husky, but she
is very dominant with both dogs and has been kept separate from the smaller
dog. Bella is very nervous around children, so would do best in a home
without young kids until she can get more socialization around them. Bella
has been friendly with adult visitors.
Bella would love to find a home where she can get a lot of attention. She
is crate trained and housetrained. Bella does well with an invisible fence
and she loves to run in the yard. She wants to please and enjoys playing
fetch. Bella has been spayed and is up to date on all vet care. If you can
provide a foster or forever home for Bella, apply today!
