7/1/11 Chevy is
the sweetest girl, but is having a hard time living at the kennel. As soon
as I opened my car door, she jumped right in and looked at me like "are we
going home now?" It broke my heart that I had to take her out of my car!
Chevy needs work on her confidence level, but other than that she is one
of the most well behaved boxers I have ever met. She walks very well on the
leash and never pulls! She walked right next to me the entire time and
enjoyed letting the sun hit her face. I think that Chevy will brighten up
outside of the kennel. If you are looking for a sweet and well behaved
boxer, Chevy is your girl! Snatch her up quick because it is hard to come by
a dog like this! She just wants a place to call home!

Chevy is
in urgent need of a foster home. She has been at the kennel for over 2
months now and is terribly depressed there. This girl has lost her home and
has not adjusted well to life in a kennel.
Our volunteer that walks Chevy indicates that she is just the sweetest
little girl. She walks great on leash and responds to all of her basic
commands. Today, she was rolling on her back and enjoying a belly rub.
Chevy is looking for a quiet home with a secure, fenced yard. She would
do best in a home without children or a lot of activity. She has become
close with Tucker at the kennel and they enjoy playing in the yard together.
She did not do well with her cat test at the kennel. Please offer this girl a chance to get out of the kennel and back into a
home.

Chevy is
in need of an experienced foster or forever home. She is looking for a
quiet home with a secure, fenced yard. Chevy is not an appropriate
match at this time for a city environment where she will have to do a lot of
walking. She needs work on leash manners and is unsure about appropriate
interactions with people when she is on the leash.
In the house, Chevy is a complete sweetheart. She warms up quickly
and is very treat motivated. Chevy takes treats gently. She will
"sit" and "shake" on command. Chevy has a very playful personality.
She is very stressed in the kennel environment and can not remain there
for a long period of time. We are in urgent need of a foster home for
Chevy. If you can help Chevy, please contact us today!

Chevy and
Jeffrey were transported together yesterday and they did great with each
other. Chevy was very timid and scared on the transport. She will need a
quiet home to help her acclimate to a new environment. Please help us get
Chevy out of the kennel as soon as possible. New pictures are posted from
her transport.

Chevy was surrendered to the shelter because her owners were moving and
couldn't take her with them. Chevy is 3 years old and is good with other
dogs. She has never lived with children or cats. When Chevy came to
the shelter, she was very friendly and eager to meet everyone. She will be
spayed soon and brought up to date on all vet care. Chevy is in need of a
foster home. Apply today to foster or adopt Chevy!
