Hi, Roxy here! I wanted to
show off some new pictures of myself doing the thing I like the most -
lounging around, especially by the inground pool! I am pretty settled into
my foster home now; it's pretty much the lap of luxury: nice comfy
sofa, going in and out of the house into my fenced yard, playing with my two
foster-brothers. Honestly, what more could a girl ask for? Well, I guess
there is one thing, a forever home.
I would like a quiet forever home with no children around to bother me
and a nice calm dog for me to relax with, yeah, that sounds good. I know
that home is out there -I am just waiting for them to find me and adopt me.
Hopefully, my pictures will reel them in. Maybe it is even you!!

Roxy has settled in well at
her foster home. Being a previous city girl, she is now enjoying the luxury
of a large, fenced yard to run around in. She is currently living with two
male Boxers and does very well with them. She came out to her first AABR
event last weekend and did very well with all the stimulation. Roxy would
love a forever home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can run and
play. Do you have the right stuff for Roxy?

This is mother and son, Roxy and Jake. They are being surrendered to
rescue due to a
death in the family and a change in living situation. Following the
death of his parents, the owner has to move out of his house by next Tuesday
into a home that does not allow dogs.
Roxy has had two litters in the past, but is now spayed. Jake will be
neutered soon. Both dogs are well cared for, in good shape, and up to date
on vaccines. Neither of them are used to being crated. Up until recently,
they were used to the mother being home all day and watching them while the
son worked. The owner has stated that he thinks they will be fine being
separated as they did not really live with each other for years. Both Roxy
and Jake are good with other dogs and unknown with cats. When the volunteer
went to meet them, they said hello and went and laid on their sofa. Both
were very well behaved around a new person.
Roxy will be going to a foster home soon, and we will update her page
once her foster family gets to know her better. If you are interested in
adopting Roxy, apply today!
