7/14/11 Rocky is an amazing family
dog. He is kind, gentle, loving, and unbelievably well behaved. Rocky would
do best in a home with a fenced yard, as he needs some work on his leash
walking and absolutely loves to be outside where he can run and play. Rocky
enjoys riding in the car, playing ball, and just being wherever his family
is at. He is completely housebroken and doesn't jump on the furniture. Rocky
rarely barks or jumps. He absolutely loves other dogs and also interacts
great with children. This boy is really calm for a young boxer. If you can
provide a foster or forever home for Rocky, get your application in today!

Rocky is a big boy! Don't be
intimidated by his size, though, because he is a gentle giant! Rocky walks
amazingly on the leash and he couldn't get out of the door fast enough to
start his walk. He seems a little stressed out being in the kennel and he
highly enjoyed going on a long walk and laying in the sun with me. I didn't
want to take him back inside because we were having too much fun together.
He is very mellow and laid back boy. If you are looking for an easy going,
sweet, and gentle boxer, Rocky is the the one you are looking for!

Rocky and Samson are coming into rescue due to unfortunate life changes
with their current family. In only a year, they have lost their home
twice. AABR
received a plea for help from a woman facing a divorce. The husband had taken the dogs from his friend seven
months ago when that person lost his home.
Rocky and Samson have been living in the basement and are crated for long
periods of time, sometimes 12-14 hours without a break. Rocky and Samson
currently live with a 2 month old child. They are reported to be wonderful
with children of all ages. Rocky is approximately 2.5 years old.
Our volunteer went to meet them and indicated both have wonderful
temperaments. Even with as little exercise as he is getting, Rocky was very
easygoing. He is a gentleman and just loved getting the attention from his
visitors. He is crate trained and enjoys being scratched/petted.
These boys needs to get out of this situation as soon as possible! They
will be transported to our vet's office soon, where they will be neutered
and brought up to date on all vet care. Please offer to foster or adopt
Rocky! He is such a sweet, laid back boy - he can fit into almost any home!
