Leah is just the sweetest young gal going. She is such a
cute boxer. Leah is on her way to good health and will never have to worry
about Parvo again. Once you get it, you can never get it again!!
Leah loves to go for rides in the car and had a great
time hanging out at my house with 4 other dogs for the weekend, while her
foster Mom was away. Leah is housebroken and does well on her harness. Like
any young boxer, she would do well in a basic obedience or agility class.
She is like a tiny gazelle and loves to fly around and play with other dogs.
I worked on the crate with her and she whined a bit, but was okay in it.
Leah will be a great addition to any family.

Leah
attended the Puppy Mill Awareness Day event in Scranton, PA last weekend.
Included is a new picture. She is doing great and is ready for her
forever home!

Included
are some new pictures of Leah. As you can see, she does need to gain a
significant amount of weight. She is eating well now and is very
playful again with her foster siblings.

Leah has
finished all treatment and is now ready to find
her forever home!

Leah has
been released from the emergency vet and is back at her foster home.
She is starting to eat regularly and even played a bit today. Please
offer to sponsor Leah to help us with her vet bills.

Leah
arrived at her foster home and is getting along great with the other dogs.
She seems to be housetrained and she knows her basic commands. Leah does
need work on leash walking and with crating.
Once she settled into her home, her foster mom noticed that Leah wasn't
feeling well. She would not eat, so she was taken to a vet. Poor Leah was
diagnosed with Parvo. The next 24-48 hours are critical.
Leah's bills will be in excess of $3000. She would appreciate any
sponsorship you could give her, even if it is just $5. We will do everything
we can to save this girl, but we can't do it without all of our support out
there!
8/8/11 -
Meet Leah - an adorable boxer girl who was found as a stray and is
estimated to be around 12 months old. Leah did well on her dog test at the
shelter. She will be going into a foster home soon with other boxers
and we will update her page once we know more about her.
