2/12/12 King is doing so well! He has
learned to go on walks and does very nicely on the leash. He loves other
dogs. He is a very shy guy, as many puppy mill dogs are, but he is getting
much better. He loves his foster family and quickly learns to like new
people when he's given the chance. He loves toys and running around the
yard. Chasing dogs, toys, or even a butterfly are all great past-times for
this little sweetie. King is a special little guy. He's on the smaller side
for a boxer but that doesn't stop him from having a great time! Please
consider giving King a forever home today!

Look at that face! What a
cutie! King has come a long way since coming to foster. He is still a pretty
shy guy, but he is getting better. He loves, loves, loves other dogs and
doesn't seem to mind cats at all. He is quite a love bug. He would beat any
one if there was a world championship in snuggling -he's the best. King
always wants to be where the people are and loves to curl up next to human
or canine for a snooze.
King will be 9 months old in February. He has the energy of a puppy, so
he's looking for a home with another dog that has lots of energy to play. He
also is a bit scared now, so he will need a home with a fenced yard and
someone that wants to help build his confidence. Because of his shy
temperament, King will not be placed in a home with an invisible fence or no
fence. King is a special, gentle little boy. Please consider giving him a
forever home today!

This little cutie is growing up
and doing great! King is a shy guy that is learning about the big
world. He recently went on a road trip to NY and did well in the car,
sleeping the whole way there. He is quite the little snuggle bug and thinks
that any human or dog he can find makes the best pillow. King needs a
forever home to help him continue to gain confidence. He will do best in a
home with another dog that is looking for a fun playmate and a fenced yard.
King loves, loves, loves toys and playing with other dogs. Please consider
giving this little guy a home of his own.

Hi Folks! I'm King! In case
you can't tell from the pictures, I am a 7 month old puppy. I'm told I am
very cute, which I have to agree with. Before coming, I didn't have a lot of
experience in a house - but I am learning pretty quickly. I know how to use
the stairs, sit quietly in my crate, and eat all my food without help. I'm
learning to use a leash and my foster mom says I'm almost completely
housebroken. I LOVE toys! Really, I love them! They are the best invention
ever! I like to chew on them, throw them up in the air, chase them, well,
just about anything! I also love other doggies. I live with a bunch of
foster brothers and sisters, large and small. I like to play with them a
lot! I also really like to cuddle.
I'm still a bit shy of this big world, so I hope I can find a home that
will help me come out of my shell. My foster mom keeps talking about finding
my forever home. I don't know what that is, but I've been looking for it!
Apparently when I find it, its gonna be pretty special. Do you know where I
can find a forever home? I hope I find one soon.

King and several of his littermates are being transported into rescue
within the next two weeks. These puppies developed the adenovirus at 6
weeks of age. Because they were sick when they were younger, the
breeder was not able to sell them at that time. They have now fully
recovered and are ready for forever homes! AABR has committed to
helping these beautiful puppies find lifelong, wonderful homes.
Please keep in mind that puppies require a lot of work! If you are
interested in a boxer this age, please make sure you are committed and ready
before you apply! To be considered for a six month old boxer, you must have
the time and energy to work on socialization and housebreaking. Somebody
should be home enough to accommodate the needs of a boxer this age. If
you do not have an appropriate home for a puppy or are not interested in a
boxer this age, please consider adopting one of our many other available
adults for adoption.
