1/30/13 Cash has
adjusted once again to a new foster home after the sudden death of his
beloved foster Dad, Jamie. He loves going for walks. His foster mom has
gotten him a ramp and Cash now enjoys car rides. He is now living the good
life and those bad days are behind him.

Cash is
doing well in his foster home. He does great with his foster sister,
Lulu, and she is very protective of him. Cash is completely
housebroken and tries so hard to keep up with Lulu - don't tell him he is a
senior!
Cash is a very sweet boy who had a hard life prior to rescue. You can
tell this is the first time in his life that he has had a good home, but in
spite of it all he just wants love. Cash adores his foster Dad and looks up
to him for everything. He is so happy to be safe and loves the air
conditioning when it is on.
Cash would do well in a home where he can hang outside in a fenced yard.
He loves to lay in the sun. Cash is on a special vet diet for his
pancreatic issues, which are now under control. Please consider a
donation to help with his food. Each bag of Royal Canin dietary vet
food costs about $68 a bag - a large bag will last Cash about a month.
In time, we are hoping to wean Cash slowly to another low-fat food.
Cash was able to attend his first adoption event and new pictures are
posted of him. Cash did nothing to deserve his previous treatment.
If you want to help a special senior boy, please fill out an application to
adopt Cash!

Cash has
been in his temporary foster home for several days now, so we have a bit
more info on him. Cash still appears to be very stressed. He absolutely
needs a quiet foster home that will give him a chance to relax and calm
down. He's not good at sharing, so he needs to be fed separately from other
pets. He also needs a home with few or no steps. Cash has fallen down the
stairs twice already, which isn't helping his stress level at all. He does
well with other dogs otherwise and enjoys going for walks. Until he
de-stresses, he would do best in a home with older children. Apply today if
you can provide a foster home for Cash!
2/26/12 -
Meet Cash, a handsome 9-10 year old male boxer. Cash’s owners were
preparing to have a baby…and one of the preparations involved dumping this
dashing older guy at the shelter. Cash is a wiggly guy and seems happy to
meet everyone. He loves all kinds of attention and his nub is always going.
Cash lived with dogs at his previous home and was reported to be good with
them. He is in need of a foster or forever home - apply today for Cash!
