Hi It's me, Miller. I am a total love bug and big goof ball. I just love life. I live with my fur sister, Mila (who is also available thru AABR). We are a bonded pair and really do love each other. You can usually find us snuggling or playing together. We sleep on each other every night. I currently live with 3 kids too (ages 11, 13, and 15). Normally, I am always with one of the kids and my sister. She is a diva and likes all the attention, but I don't mind because they always make sure to love me too. I really like to play with dogs and me and my sister love to chase each other in the yard. I also enjoy going for walks. I love meeting new people and ensure they know by giving them a ton of kisses. My foster parents call me, Miller, but also I have heard them say Marmaduke when they are talking about me, they say cause I sure do remind them of him. I am a tall Boxer just like Marmaduke. I went out this weekend to an event and I just had a ball meeting new people and other dogs. I am great in the car and enjoy looking out the window. Also, I am good at the vet. I currently have free roam of the house with my sister when no one is home. We do have a fenced in yard that we love to romp in. My foster mom says, " To know me is to love me." She says, I am just Fabulous! :)

Miller and Mia are in foster together and doing well.  They recently attended an adoption event and enjoyed all the attention.  Included are some new photos of them.  An update will be posted soon!

7/24/12 -

Miller and Mila are in need of immediate foster homes so we can pull them from the shelter.  They are an adorable pair of boxers that came in as strays together.  It is obvious they have been on the streets for awhile.  They are both very skinny and have cement and tar marks on their legs.  Check out the video link below of them:

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
