Paris has completed her heartworm treatment and is doing GREAT! She is such an all around wonderful dog that I can not believe she has not been adopted yet. Paris can be left home alone and does not need a crate. She loves people and does well with other dogs, but does need slow introductions. She is being fostered with AABR available dogs, Greta and Peanut. If you are looking for an easygoing dog that is no trouble and loves to snuggle on the couch, Paris is your dog. She has been in her foster home for 6 months and deserves a forever home.  Please apply to adopt Paris.

11/26/12

Paris has been with AABR for 3 months already and is still waiting for her forever home. She is an adorable, well mannered boxer. Paris loves to be around people and gives big wet boxer kisses. Paris is a laid back girl, who is content following you around the house, snuggling on the couch to watch a movie, or going for a walk. All Paris wants for the holidays is her FOREVER home. Apply to adopt Paris.

10/7/12

Paris is a very sweet girl that loves to give kisses and cuddle. She is well behaved and would make a wonderful addition to any home. Paris is currently being fostered with 3 dogs and is doing well. She does need slower introductions because she is nervous meeting new dogs, but does warm up when comfortable. Paris will be starting her heart worm treatment, but it would be wonderful if she could do it in her forever home. Please apply to adopt this beautiful brindle girl.

09/08/12

Paris is a small boxer and is in a foster home now.  She is very sweet and affectionate. She is starting to settle in and we thought you might like to see a picture of her finding comfort in her new surroundings.  We will update you as we learn more about her.

08/11/12 -

Adopt A Boxer Rescue pulled three heartworm positive boxers in desperate need of rescue from a South Carolina shelter. One of the boxers was 4 year old Paris.

Paris is a typical exuberant boxer girl who is full of boxer wiggles and kisses. She has a wonderful personality and seems very friendly and loving. Paris will be transported up north with the other 2 girls on August 18th and she will need a foster home so we can start her heartworm treatment. Please apply to foster Paris so she does not have to go to a kennel. If you can not foster at this time, maybe you can consider making a small donation to her medical costs.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption Procedure, by clicking on the link at the top of this page, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
