1/09/13 Rex is doing fantastic in his
foster home! He is no longer that crazy puppy that was in the shelter.
Thanks to his foster home, he is becoming a well adjusted young boxer.
Rex is looking for a fun home that likes to go for walks and play at the
park. Rex gets along great with Chief, his foster brother, and the
resident older boxer in the home. Rex and Chief love to play and
wrestle daily!

Rex is a super sweet boy .He
is doing great in his foster home. Rex is crate trained and will do
anything for a treat. Rex is such a friendly boy. I can't
believe that he is still looking for a forever home!
10/21/12
Rex is still patiently
waiting for his forever home and is making steady progress. He has gotten
more comfortable being crated. He still puts up a little fuss at
first, but quickly settles down. Rex has also gotten better on his walks.
He loves all new people that he meets and is such a happy boy. Rex also
loves to play with his toys and is so good at bringing them right up to you
to play with him. Rex will curl up and cuddle with you, but if you don't
want to sleep with him - he is fine in his own bed. He gets along just
fine with his foster brother, Oscar, who is 8 years old.
Rex is your typical young Boxer and would love a fenced yard to run to
his hearts content and a brother or sister would be nice too. If you're
looking for the perfect young Boxer to love and grow with, Rex is your boy.
I'm sure he will not be with us too much longer, so apply now and give this
sweet boy the loving home all dogs deserve.

Rex has been with us almost 2
weeks and is everything you would want in a young male Boxer. He's kind of
like a puppy in a big boy's body! It's pretty clear his previous family
didn't have the time to do a lot of training with him, but he is a smart boy
and can learn quickly. Rex knows some commands such as sit and down, but
still takes his good ole time before doing them : ) Rex is not too fond of
the crate, so we're working on that. He does pull on his walks, so that is
something else that will take some time for him to learn.
Rex gets along just fine with his foster brother, age 8, and is
constantly going up to him and giving him kisses. He is all wiggles and
excited when meeting new people. He also likes to follow you wherever you go
and would prefer to sleep with you. Rex would love to have a home with a
fenced yard to run and play in and a brother or sister would be nice too. If
you are looking for a young Boxer to love and grow with, then Rex is your
boy.

Rex was surrendered to the local shelter because his family didn't have
enough time for him. He is your typical young, goofy Boxer. The first
thing he does when he sees you is flop on his back for a belly rub. He has
lots of energy and would love to run and play with his new family in a
fenced yard. Our volunteers who walk him at the kennel say he is sweet and
happy to get a walk. If you are looking for an active goofball to add to
your family, apply for Rex! |
