12/09/13 Buster has been in his foster
home for 3 weeks now and has settled in really well. He is getting along
great with his new foster sister, a 1 yr old female boxer. You can often
find them snuggling together and they have figured out how to play tug of
war. Buster thrives in the company of another dog and would need this in his
forever home. He does get overly excited on leash when he meets new dogs and
people, jumping and barking, which is something his foster mom is working
with him to correct. Buster is very energetic and loves to play. He also
loves to be close to his people. Buster is looking for a forever home that
will give him time to adjust and can continue his training. If you can
provide a home for Buster, apply today!

Buster is a blind boxer boy who
was adopted in December 2012, but is being returned to rescue. There have
been some changes in his home, including a new baby, and his family
indicated they have not been able to give Buster the time and attention he
needs.
Buster is currently living with a newborn and a five year old child. He
gets along great with the five year old child inside the home and sleeps
with him every night, but can get over stimulated with the activity of young
children outside. For this reason, we feel a home with older children
may be better suited for Buster.
Buster has been living with a Pug, who he does great with. Prior to being
adopted, he was in a foster home with a female boxer. Buster is a very sweet
and loving boy who is in need of a new foster or forever home.

Buster has arrived at his new
foster home and is adjusting well! He has a wonderful disposition and
has been a delight in the home. Buster loves his foster sister, a
female boxer. He has not had any accidents at all and is left with
free run of the house during the work day. Buster does know how to sit
and give paw. It is hard to remember sometimes that this boy can't
see. He has quickly learned the layout of his foster home. If
you are interested in a boxer with a great temperament, apply today for
Buster!

Buster did get to see the
ophthalmologist and is indeed 100% blind...however, please don't tell him. I
had the pleasure of having Buster spend the night with me. This little
guy shocked me more in 24 hours than the last 24 fosters I have had, lol. He
is stunning and so full of personality. Buster was a perfect house guest
with nothing but great manners. He was great on his leash and loved playing
tug of war. He did fairly well on my steps (14 total). Of course, I
helped him with a leash but also watched him sneak up to find me when I ran
up to get my keys. I was able to keep him all day before taking him back to
the kennel. Buster met lots of people and loved everybody. He was a
huge hit at the Vet's office and I had the same thing said by several....I
can't believe he doesn't have a home yet. Buster curled up in a recliner as
if to say, well I guess this will work for tonight. He then got to
sleep in a real bed. Buster is a super boy and is sure to make a great
addition to a family. If you think you have enough love for this special
boy, please apply today & give Buster what he deserves.

Buster is still waiting for a
foster or forever home. Our volunteer reports that he is a very fun
boy to be around. It is hard to tell that he can't see, as Buster
loves to jump around and play. He will be seeing our ophthalmologist
next Monday and we will post an update after his visit. Apply today if
you can help get Buster out of the kennel.

Buster is an adorable 3.5 year old male boxer who was surrendered to
rescue because his owner moved and couldn't take him. He was
temporarily living at her grandmother's house, but was tied outside because
one of the children in the home was allergic to dogs. Buster was
bought from a breeder as a puppy. The owner indicated that Buster lost
his vision last summer. He loves to ride in the car and will quickly
demonstrate his "shake" trick for you. Buster is reported to be good
with children of all ages, cats, and other dogs.
When our volunteer went to meet Buster, he was nothing but wiggles.
He does jump when excited. Buster is a very sweet boy and with some
time and training, he is going to be a wonderful boxer for a lucky home!
Buster is being neutered soon and brought up to date on all vet care.
We are in need of a foster home for him to go to so Buster doesn't have to
spend a lot of time at the boarding kennel. Please open your home and
heart to foster or adopt this sweet boy! |
