8/19/13 Are you looking for a puppy
without all the puppy problems? Georgia is your girl! She has all the fun
energy of a young dog, but is past the puppy stage. Georgia got out of the
kennel for a weekend retreat in a home and boy did she settle into the lazy
dog routine. After living in a kennel for over 2 months, she still has
manners, showed no destructive behavior, and knows to potty outside. She is
very treat and affection motivated and already knows sit and down. She can
be easily trained to do so much more.
Georgia loves to roll on her back for belly rubs, loves curling up next
to you, and loves meeting new people of all ages. After all this time in the
kennel, Georgia is still a very friendly, sweet, young girl that enjoys
playing and would benefit from a fenced in yard and someone to play fetch
with. Please consider giving this Georgia peach a home!

Georgia is still waiting in the kennel for her forever family. She has been
getting out on walks more often so we have learned much more about her. On
the latest trip out, we had the opportunity to take Ernie, another boxer at
the kennel, out at the same time. Georgia was very interested in him, so we
slowly introduced them and they did great together. She didn't mind Ernie
sniffing around her and lost interest in him once they met. So after a
proper introductions, she may do well with another dog in a home.
Georgia is an active girl that loves
to run and would make the perfect running partner. When she gets out of the
kennel, she has a lot of energy to burn. After about 30 minutes,
Georgia calms down and loves to be petted and receive affection. She is
extremely friendly and has loved every person she has met. Georgia has made
friends with the local police officers and park grounds crews by running
right to them, jumping in their laps, and showering them with her sweet
boxer kisses. She responds well to her name. Georgia knows the basic
commands sit and down. She is a very good girl. Georgia is a typical smart,
friendly boxer that just needs to have a family to call her own.

Georgia is still waiting for a
foster home or forever family. She loves kids of all ages. On
her walk today, she fell in love with three young children that she met.
This girl is super sweet with people - please help her get out of the
kennel!

An AABR volunteer made it to
the shelter to save Georgia just in time. Another hour and she
wouldn't be here today. Georgia was transported this weekend and
arrived safely at her foster home. This girl is so sweet and very
lucky to have AABR volunteers coming together to get her out of the shelter.
Here is to second chances and a new life through rescue!
Georgia is a very petite boxer girl. She seems to know some basic
commands. Georgia also seems to be housetrained. She will be
further evaluated with other dogs at her foster home. If you are
looking for a petite girl, Georgia may be your ideal match!

Sometimes being in the right place at the right time really pays off! It
is turning out that way for Georgia. AABR was contacted about her and we did
not think we were going to be able to assist. You see, Georgia was pretty
far away from us. However, one of our volunteers happened to be nearby and
offered to not only go get her, but to also give her a ride to Pennsylvania
today. Georgia is a lucky girl!
Georgia was found as a stray and is estimated to be around 1 year of
age. She loves people and is very friendly. Georgia is recommended for an
only dog home until we learn more about her interactions with other dogs.
