3/03/14 Amber is doing great in her
foster home. She is super with the small children and also with her
boxer foster brother. Amber is a sweetheart and is easygoing, but can
still demonstrate spunk at times! She will play with her foster
brother, Bentley, and really enjoys his company. Amber would prefer to
have another dog in her forever home. She walks well on the leash and
has no problems in the crate when left alone. She tolerates the many
kisses and hugs that the children in her foster home give her! Amber
is going to be a great addition to a new home. How can you not snag
her with those beautiful, expressive eyes of hers!

Amber is a laid back,
independent, snuggly girl who doesn't require a lot in her home. She
is happy to lay around and relax. Amber walks nicely on leash.
She takes her treats gently and is always happy to see new people when they
come to visit. Amber knows her basic commands and is also housebroken.
She will go in the crate as needed, but would prefer to be out and about.
She is good with other dogs and has been playful with her foster brother.
Amber would make a great addition to a family looking for a calm dog who
will enjoy relaxing with you!

Amber, Honey, and Mugzzy lost their home when their owner went to prison.
The owner wrote a letter and asked AABR to please help his three dogs find a
wonderful, new home. AABR had the dogs signed over and stepped in
quickly to get them to rescue.
Amber is 7 years old. She has lived with children of all ages and
cats. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog.
Amber just arrived at her new foster home. We will post new pictures
and more information as we learn more about her. Thank you for your
interest in Amber! |
