9/29/14 Murph is a young energetic
male that is in need of a boxer savvy home. Murph, as with most dogs,
will benefit from a good trainer.
Murph is a friendly adolescent, but very mouthy. He has not been trained
to walk on a leash, and he is not good at it yet. He will need
consistent training. He likes to cuddle at night, but has his wild times as
puppies often do. His seems to be about 7Pm each night... His new family
must be willing to go the distance this young guy will need.
In his young life, we were told that Murph has been socialized with kids,
other dogs and cats, but he may be too much for all of the above except the
most playful of dogs. He has met and been good with children at the
school bus stop, and is good with the foster cat as long as it doesn't move.
Then it is game on ; (
In fact, his best home right now would be one without young children and
cats, and with an energetic female dog to help teach him the ropes, and
exercise him. But slow and steady will win the race with this young
boy.
He is house trained, but don't know how much time he has spent in a
crate. He is used to his foster dad working from home. He has been
left for an hour and was good...
If you have the time, energy and leadership skills needed, and are
committed long term, please apply to adopt this handsome young boxer.

Murph has arrived at his
foster home in New York, where he is settling in well. Murph is 8
months old and a big boy at 65 lbs. He is also full of energy!
Murph needs an active home willing to work on basic obedience training.
He would also benefit from a fenced yard. Murph would love a home with
another dog that he could play with and will keep up with his energy level.
While he is good with cats, due to his size and puppy energy, he can be
overwhelming to them. If you are up to the challenge of a young dog
and willing to work with his training and socialization, apply today for
Murph!
