Beatrice is doing great in her foster home!  She loves her foster brother and waits by his crate every morning for him to come out and play.  Beatrice has gained some much needed weight.  She is wonderful on leash and really enjoys going for walks.  Beatrice doesn't pay any attention to cats.  She really enjoys being outside and would love a fenced yard to relax in.  Beatrice is a really sweet, easy going girl who is going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family! 

1/04/15

Beatrice has arrived in Maryland and did wonderful on her transport.  She travels great in the car and enjoyed watching out the window.  Beatrice will be spayed this week and will also will get a much needed dental.  She will then be arriving at her new foster home.  We will post another update once her foster family gets to know Beatrice better!

12/29/14 -

Beatrice was found as a stray and will be arriving soon at her foster home!  Her temporary foster reports that Beatrice is very sweet and follows her around everywhere.  She is completely housebroken and will bark to let you know.  Beatrice is doing well with the cats and was very friendly with the dogs she met at the vet's office.  She jumps right in the car to go for a ride.  When you come home, Beatrice gets very excited and dances around the room.  She has been sleeping through the night on a dog bed in the bedroom.  Beatrice is a sweet senior girl who is looking for a home to call her own.  Apply today to adopt Beatrice!

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 3 months to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Not every home is the right match for a boxer, and matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time. 

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us at your home visit of other dogs you are interested...  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
