Stoha continues to do well in his foster home!  He has really enjoyed wrestling and running with his foster sister, and would love a forever home with a female companion! Stoha is also quite the love bug and enjoys snuggling with his humans.  He just turned 2 yrs old last month.  Included are some updated pictures.  Apply today for this wonderful, young boy!

We are surprised that this wonderful boy has not been snatched up yet!  Due to his previous foster mom's travel, he was recently moved to a new foster home and has settled in there without any problems.  Stoha continues to live with a female boxer and he loves to play with her!  He is also enjoying his fenced yard.  Stoha is doing much better with his crate and only cries initially and then is quiet.  He is used to somebody being home with him often.  Stoha does have a lot of puppy energy, so would probably do best in a home with older children.  Stoha is very smart and listens well.  He is walking well on leash with a harness.  He truly is a great snuggler and is happiest when curled up next to you.

Stoha is still looking for his forever home.  He would do best in a home with a submissive female.  Stoha loves to play with his foster sister, a female boxer.  He is doing better with his crate, but does get a mid-day break.  Stoha is very smart and listens well.  He is walking better on the leash with a harness.  Stoha is a great boy with a lot of puppy energy.  He is also a wonderful snuggler and loves to cuddle with his foster mom.

1/24/15

Stoha is settling in well at his foster home.  He traveled in the car with no problems.  Stoha is having a great time playing with his new foster sister, a female boxer.  He walks well on a leash and seems to be housebroken.  Stoha met a few small dogs on his walk yesterday and had no issues with them.  He wants to be right next to you and craves attention.  Whoever adopts Stoha is going to get a wonderful, loving boy!

1/21/15 -

Stoha was surrendered to rescue because his owner was disabled and unable to provide him with the care and exercise a young boxer needs.  Stoha previously lived with two other dogs, large and small.  Stoha was very scared during his transport to the vet and is unsure of all the changes in his life right now.  He was neutered today and will be arriving at his foster home tomorrow, where he will be living with a female boxer.  We will update Stoha's page with more information and updated pictures once his foster mom gets to know him better.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption Procedure, by clicking on the link at the top of this page, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 3 months to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Not every home is the right match for a boxer, and matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us at your home visit of other dogs you are interested...  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
